In season seven WealthTrack focuses on helping viewers minimize risk while maximizing investment returns in a low-return, high-risk world. Each half-hour episode offers a unique holistic approach to investing as Consuelo Mack, a veteran business journalist, brings viewers the acknowledged experts in a wide variety of fields, including exclusive interviews with “Great Investors” and “Financial Thought Leaders.” Following an in-depth discussion of the most significant trends affecting investors, financial experts offer their pick for the “one investment” that every individual should own in a long-term diversified portfolio. Each episode concludes with Consuelo’s weekly “Action Point,” one to-do item to help viewers achieve financial security. Since July 2005, Consuelo Mack WealthTrack has provided trustworthy, understandable advice about building and protecting wealth over the long-term from the best minds in the business world. This May, Fortune characterized the series as “about as far away in tone as you can get from Jim Cramer’s Mad Money,” and in 2008, Money magazine named Consuelo Mack “The Best Money TV Host” in its annual “100 Best” issue, saying, “Cramer may entertain, but when it is your future at stake, you’re far better off tuning in to Mack and her thoughtful guests.” Consuelo Mack WealthTrack is a presentation of WLIW21 in association with WNET.ORG.
