Matt Dusk: Live from Las Vegas

The hip crooner and his lush 18-piece big band perform classic swing hits inspired by Las Vegas legends and instantly-enjoyed originals in his first public television special. One of Canada’s most popular vocalists, Dusk delivers cherished favorites to the next generation with integrity and reverence, including “Get Me To The Church On Time,” “Luck Be A Lady,” “Mack The Knife,” and “You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You,” a duet with singer/actress and Emmy-nominated producer Lorna Luft. Forging his own path, Dusk also performs originals including “Back In Town,” “Good News” and “Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot Of Sad,” written by Bono & The Edge of U2. Returning to the city where he got his start, Dusk shares personal stories during the concert, taped August 2010, at the Crown Theater in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Produced by STILETTO Television. A presentation of WLIW21 in association with WNET.ORG
