Planting Fields is a former gold coast estate of the W.R. Coe Family. Coe Hall House Museum is a
65-room Tudor Revival mansion restored to show the lifestyle of the 1920’s. There are 1 1/2 acres of
greenhouses, 160 acres of specialty gardens, 200-plus acres of woodlands and fields, and quiet and
beauty year round. Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm,
except Christmas.

Tour a formerly working Coal Mine restored to tourism in 1985. Travel 250 feet below the earth’s
surface to see how generations before toiled to mine “Black Diamonds.” Temperatures remain a
