Selecting DVD-ROM Titles for the Classroom|
In selecting DVD-ROMs for use in the classroom, look for resources to help make your topics come alive. Find DVD-ROMs that provide students with ways to experience a subject rather than reading about it: let students simulate an experiment rather than reading about the result; let them hear music rather than reading accounts of the score.
For tips on what to keep in mind as you make your selections, see the
Checklist for Evaluating and Selecting DVD-ROM Products (PDF).
