The Doors: Live in Europe

A new public television special features performances from the psychedelic blues rock pioneers’ 1968 European tour, including hits “Light My Fire,” “Hello, I Love You,” “Love Me Two Times,” “The Unknown Soldier” and other Doors classics. Interviews with John Densmore (drummer), Robby Krieger (guitarist), Ray Manzarek (keyboards/electric organ) and Jim Morrison (vocals), offer a glimpse of life on the road. Plus, Grace Slick and Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane, who shared the bill with the notoriously wild band during this tour, reminisce about The Doors’ music and antics. Film locations include London, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
