John Gray: Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice

John Gray, Ph.D., the bestselling relationship author of all time, returns with an illuminating new public television special based on his 17th book, Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice (late January 2010). “I spent the last 15 years teaching couples how to make small shifts in their behavior that would stimulate an abundance of the hormones of desire and love with the consequence of a healthier, happier life at any age,” said Gray. “What I discovered is the key for turning Venus-Mars relationships into the fountain of youth.” Distributed by WLIW21 in association with WNET.ORG, John Gray: Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice will air nationwide on public television stations beginning February 2010 (check local listings).

Acting out humorous relationship situations everybody can identify with, Gray demonstrates how the often frustrating differences between men and women can be used to stimulate healthy hormones – testosterone in men and oxytocin in women – that help control the unhealthy hormone cortisol to manage stress levels and body weight, stabilize blood sugar, and inspire desire. Explaining how men and women can make small lifestyle shifts, Gray introduces natural “super-oxytocin producers” – super-foods, super-exercise and super-sleep – that boost love and romance while supporting physical well-being. John Gray: Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice conveys valuable information and simple, specific tools that can easily be incorporated into any lifestyle, at any age. Filmed August 2009 during a live lecture at the Chan Center in Vancouver, Canada, Gray is at his energetic best, educating while fully entertaining.

In 1992, John Gray changed the way we look at male-female relationships forever, with his groundbreaking book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, one of the best-selling books of the last decade. Since then, Gray has authored 16 bestsellers and sold over 40 million Mars Venus books in more than 45 languages throughout the world. He has released highly acclaimed CDs and DVDs, and writes a weekly nationally syndicated column, also published by outlets worldwide.

An internationally recognized expert in the fields of communication and relationships, Gray’s unique focus is assisting men and women in understanding, respecting and appreciating their differences. A Certified Family Therapist for over 15 years, Gray has been conducting personal growth seminars for over 30 years, is a popular speaker on the national and international lecture circuit, and often appears on television and radio programs to discuss his work. Appearances include Oprah, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show, The View, Politically Incorrect, Larry King Live, and other popular shows. He has been profiled in Newsweek, Time, Forbes, USA Today, TV Guide, and People, among scores of other major media, and was the subject of a rare three-hour special hosted by Barbara Walters.

I disagree with this article regarding child support in Nevada. My son is “white” and his ex wife along with his son lives in California, therefore the “child support” court order was transferred by the Calfiornia District Attorney to the Nevada District Attorneys office. My son is ordered to pay directly to Nevada D.A. with wage garnishment. He is in construction therefore currently unemployed and the D.A. takes the support directly from his unemployment check. In Nevada persons paying support are required to make court appearances every few months just to be validated by the D.A. they are paying support and I have heard many cases where child lives in California and Husband living in Nevada and paying support via garnishment to D.A. And in Nevada the employer must follow the law and garnish if ordered to do so and drivers license can even be suspended.

It is impossible for me to believe Ms. Collins is not receiving cooperation from the Nevada District Attorney.
