The Beach Boys: Endless Harmony takes viewers back to the era of "Fun, Fun, Fun" with the group's best TV and concert appearances from 1963-67 showcasing timeless hits including "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Surfin' USA," "California Girls" and "Good Vibrations." Extended interview segments with original members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine and the late Carl and Dennis Wilson provide the story behind the songs and how they were created. Frank conversations and interviews with Beach Boys' Glen Campbell and Bruce Johnston, as well as session musicians, shed light on the Beach Boys incredible success in the early '60s and subsequent troubled waters as band members began to pursue different creative paths. Peers Jackson Browne, Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean and the Bee Gees' Maurice Gibb share their memories, and latter-day musicians Elvis Costello and Sean Lennon discuss the band's lasting impact. The special also includes rare promotional videos of "Sloop John B" and "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times."

The Beach Boys are one of the most successful recording acts of all time with 36 Top 40 hits, including four No. 1 singles, and nearly 40 albums released in the course of 35 years. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2001, the group received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
