Ed Slott’s Stay Rich for Life

Renowned tax advisor and personal finance author Ed Slott, CPA, offers Baby Boomers – and anyone who wants to retire on their own terms despite America’s monumental fiscal crisis – a step–by–step solution to create, manage and keep family wealth. Building on his first public television special, Stay Rich Forever & Ever, Slott explains how to grow and protect your money in turbulent times. ED SLOTT’S STAY RICH FOR LIFE features all new information and Slott’s inviting blend of in-depth, real–world research, humor, and detailed facts from the tax code to make financial planning accessible.

In his new special, Slott presents practical explanations and proven guidelines including:

  • How to move from “forever taxed” to never taxed
  • The IRA account’s “evil twin” — Uncle Sam
  • History of the top tax rate — over 70% for most of the 20th Century
  • How to crack the code — the tax code
  • The “Amazing” ROTH IRA
  • Ed’s 5–Step plan

ED SLOTT’S STAY RICH FOR LIFE demonstrates attainable results from Slott’s 20+ years as a hands–on expert in financial planning with personal stories of clients that powerfully illustrate his practical advice put into effect, including a couple who are multi–millionaires today after following Slott’s practical approach to money management. ED SLOTT’S STAY RICH FOR LIFE premieres nationwide on public television March 2009 (check local listings).

Do you have a name of a tax planning expert in Houston TX that I can go to?

After watching 10 minutes of this guy, I turned him off. I think he’s a charlatan. I was flabbergasted how people seemed to be soaking in every word.

WLIW should be ashamed to put this huckster on the air when we have a great show like Wealth Track available.

I’ve just donated to obtain the Ed Slott Super Kit 2010 package. I would like to see a list of the items this package contains, and after some searching, do not see the list, even though on the program viewers are referred to the website for a full description. Maybe I’m not finding it. Would you send me the list?

Also, I asked if it were not possible to have the package delivered faster than the usual time period of 4-6 weeks, and was told there is no option to pay more for faster shipping. I suggest that WLIW look into offering this to viewers, and in the interests of honest advertising, mention on the program that it takes 4-6 weeks to get the materials!

I first met Mr. Slott when he was the keynote speaker at our teacher’s credit union. He was informative and made finance entertaining. It started our looking at retirement plans and ideas. We are unsure if we are able to implement some of his ideas, but bouncing it off of other advisors (not affiated with Mr. Slott) helped alot. Thank You Public Television.

I don’t know about how helpful Ed Slott’s advice it is for us. But one thing I do know now is — this channel sucks! I placed my order 12/5 right at the time his show broadcasting. They advertise it as a great Christmas gift. When I ordered it, no one tells me about anything in terms of shipping expectation. It should be plenty of time before Christmas comes. So I didn’t pay much attention. But two weeks went by and I haven’t seen any mail package, nor a shipping confirmation to my email, I started to get worry and called them. Despite the fact the representative was rude and unapologizing, I was told it takes 4-6 wks to arrive. Then why advertise it for Christmas gift??? It’s not going to make it for Christmas. “well I don’t know, it always takes that long… it’s not me that took your order. i don’t know… i don’t know why they tell you that… it’s just nothing i can do…” Only thing I’m glad is he’s agreed to cancel my order and give me a refund. Let’s see how that goes. Never order from this channel again. They’re so irresponsible and sloppy with their service. Can’t believe someone can still survive with this kind of customer service quality these days.
