Lenox, MA – Bill visits author Edith Wharton’s renowned home, The Mount, in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Before her famous novels, Wharton wrote books on design and gardening and loved to entertain. We go behind the scenes before a special event, a wonderful dinner inspired by a meal in The Age of Innocence.

I hope you post the recipes for the picnic .
How great to see how people live. I wish my mother had tiffany sterling(lol). Great show. Gives you ideas to create your own moments of luxury.
The most fascinating part by far was the history and background of Edith Wharton herself and how her incredible talents were highlighted and showcased by the director of The Mount.
Bravo. What a treat . I am so glad we had this opportunity to view the Mount. It is beyond Splendid . I especially appreciated the detailed information offered by the Mount’s Director.
Truly a rare privilege .. Thank you . A personal visit is on my Wish List ..
Loved the Edith Wharton segment. I had the pleasure of visiting the Mont three years ago and your show was truly superb. Would you please provide a link to the picnic recipes? Thanks again!
where can I find the recipes?
Is there a standard way that viewers can collect recipes shown in programs?
Thank you,
I would also like to know if the recipes are available.
Thank you
I really do hope to find the recipes. I just saw the episode and have found myself to be in need of those. Any idea if they will be up?
Thank you.
Yes, I agree with previous posts….recipes, please.
I love Bill’s show. The episode on The Mount was particularly interesting and I will now make a point of going to visit this extraordinary home of Edith Wharton. Also, I must say I, too, would love those recipes of the foods featured in this show. Thanks! DD.
YES, recipes please !!!
I wish someone would read this stuff and post the recipes
Saw the program on Edith Wharton in Febuary 2010, would love to have those recipes for the picnic.
where are the recipes? I’d like to see the one ofr the Three P’s… the internet has so many DIFFERENT options… dill or sweet pickels, salted or unsalted peanuts… they use mayo. I can’t find one with a lemon vinagrette.
Everone seems to be asking for the recipes for this interesting show. Will they be posted…where?
Where can I find the reciepes??
And ‘napkin folding’?
This program is spectacular. Thanks
What I am typing is not visable to me, so the typos and hiccups are to be overlooked, please.
How can I get the recipe for the 3 pea salad?
I too am interested in the Pea Salad recipe and the Lemon Pound Cake. Can you email them or give a site where they can be found?
I loved the program & really would like the recipe for the 3 pea salad as well as the recipes for the pound cake & jams or/ jellies. Please let me know where I can get copies of them. Thnank you in advance.
I would like to have the recipies also. How can I get them?
I also would like all these recipes from Edith Wharton’s Episode 207. How do we get them?
the 3 p’s were peas, peanuts and pickles – seems like she said tart – so probably dill,
served with a lemon vinaigrette dressing
guess with those easy ingredients we should be able to just add each until you get the blend you like
Would appreciate link to the 3 P salad
Could you please send me or tell me where to find the recipe for the pound cake dessert shown in this episode? It looks like the closest thing I’ve seen to my grandmother’s old family recipe which has been lost. Thanks very much.
I would love the recipes from the picnic, also. Thanks!
Please advise where we can get the recipes from the picnic segment of the show. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.
Where do I find the Bishop’s Hat napkin folding instructions?
I would appreciate the recipes for the :
3 Pea Salad.
Lemon Pound Cake.
Fig jam etc.
Thank you.
