Long Island Association, Inc. President Matt Crosson and WOR Radio 710 AM News Anchor Dara Welles co-host WLIW21’s new local series CROSSON AND WELLES, a public affairs roundtable on regional issues ands politics affecting New York State, New York City and Long Island. Each episode of the weekly, half-hour series will feature co-hosts Crosson and Welles, two regular panelists and a special guest panelist discussing several timely topics, plus a week-in-review update. Regular panelists include Joye Brown, Columnist for Newsday; Bruce Blakeman, Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; Patrick Halpin, former Suffolk County Executive and Executive Vice President for External Affairs, Institute for Student Achievement; and James Klurfeld, Professor of Journalism, Interim Director, Center for News Literacy, Stony Brook University. The series will also air Sundays at 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm on WLIW World (Ch. 132 on iO Interactive Optimum from Cablevision and Ch. 873 on Verizon FiOS).
