No Escaping Houdini Giveaway

WLIW21, THIRTEEN and The Jewish Museum are giving away fantastic prizes to celebrate the new exhibit, Houdini: Art and Magic, on display at The Jewish Museum through 3/27/11. The first major art museum exhibition on the master magician, it features magic apparatus such as his straitjacket, posters, period photographs, archival films, and contemporary art work by artists who conjure Houdini as an audacious performer and showman of raw physicality. WLIW will air No Escaping Houdinion Thursday, 12/10 at 7pm. This special program looks at the life, career, and Jewish roots of the legendary magician, escape artist, and Hungarian immigrant.

One grand prize winner will receive a Houdini: Art and Magic catalogue and t-shirt, admission passes for four to The Jewish Museum, and a WLIW tote and an umbrella. 50 first-prize winners will receive a pair of museum admission passes.

Please Note: For the Grand Prizes, we’ll pick one winner from each station. But for the 50 first prize winners, we’ll need to combine all the entries from Thirteen and WLIW and pick 50 winners, rather than 50 from each station.
