The Irish balladeer takes viewers on an emotional voyage of music from the Emerald Isle. Taped March 2007 at Ireland's National Events Centre in Killarney, Tommy Fleming performs classics and contemporary favorites, backed by a 12-voice choir and an 18-piece orchestra directed by David Hayes. Fleming opens the concert with an emotionally-charged performance that presents the laments of an Irish expatriate who wishes he was back in his homeland. He also sings fan favorites "Don't Give Up 'Til It's Over" and "Hard Times," alongside songs that reflect the trials and tribulations that have befallen the Irish people over the last century. As a solo artist Fleming has recorded six studio and two concert albums that have achieved platinum and multi-platinum sales.
Produced by Tommy Fleming and David Hayes. Executive producers: Tommy Fleming and Tina Mitchell-Fleming for TF Productions 2007. Presented nationally by WLIW New York. ST and CC.
