WNET Stations to Offer Live Web Streaming
WNET, home to PBS stations WLIW, THIRTEEN and NJTV, has announced that effective April 1, viewers can access live programming from station websites, adding an important new way for viewers to access station content, any time for free. By visiting thirteen.org/live, wliw.org/live or njtvonline.org/live, viewers may watch content live anytime, anywhere they have an internet connection in the station viewing area.
“Especially now, we want to be able to make our quality content available for free to as many viewers as possible,” said WNET President & CEO Neal Shapiro. “We already offer viewers a wide range of tools for streaming our shows after they air. This takes it a step further, so you can watch your favorite PBS and local programming in real time.”
Viewers can continue to watch WNET content on demand on the THIRTEEN Explore app for iOS and Android devices and via Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire services and on station websites. Visit wnet.org/watch for more information.
