Weekday Education Programs for Kids

As the fall school season returns with all its variations and uncertainties, The WNET Group presents engaging broadcasts with expert educators and consistency you can count on, starting Tuesday, September 8.

WLIW21 is the broadcast destination of The WNET Group’s at-home learning programs for grades 3K to grade 4, Monday through Friday starting at 9 a.m. and ending at noon. Anyone in the WLIW21 viewing area can tune-in or livestream these remote learning lessons at wliw.org/live.

The broadcast programs Let’s Learn NYC! and NJTV Learning Live also archive every lesson on The WNET Group station sites Thirteen.org, NJTVonline.org, as well as here on WLIW.org.

Let’s Learn NYC! episodes are available in versions with English or Spanish captions, and all NJTV Learning Live lessons can be watched with English captions. NJTV Learning Live also has classes for grades 5 and 6 that can be streamed on every station website.

Let’s Learn NYC!: Monday-Friday 9-10 a.m.


Let’s Learn NYC! remote learning classes are for 3K to Grade 2, taught by NYC Department of Education professionals. The one-hour lessons emphasize literacy, and include math, music, movement, science and social studies.

Learn how to support your child’s learning this fall and about available resources from New York City’s Department of Education on the Let’s Learn NYC Families! special, streaming now and airing on THIRTEEN September 13 at 9 a.m.; on WLIW21 September 15 at 7:30 p.m. and September 20 at 6 p.m.

NJTV Learning Live Grade 3 Lessons: Monday-Friday 10 – 11 a.m.

NJTV Learning Live is a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey Educators Association (NJEA), and New Jersey’s public school teachers, including many award-winning ones! You can stream more than 40 3rd grade lessons now.
