Long Island, we want to hear from you! We’ve only been around since June 2020 when The WNET Group, home of New York’s THIRTEEN – America’s flagship PBS station – WLIW21,; NJ PBS, New Jersey’s statewide public television network; announced the call letter change of its Southampton, New York-based radio station 88.3. The new WLIW-FM, Long Island’s only National Public Radio station introduced a dynamic new programming schedule, keeping local shows and hosts in place while adding popular national radio titles and introducing new local programming. Over the last year and a half, you’ve gotten to know the new station. Now we want to get to know you.
