Southold’s Mark Heidemann makes his directorial debut in the Boots On the Ground theatrical production of “The Agitators,” opening Friday night at the Vail Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead. Agitators is a Mat Smart work that delves into the tempestuous lifelong friendship between Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass. Boots’ Bonnie Grice stars as Susan B.
