Dear friends and listeners,

Happy Summer of 2022 and Community Matching Gift Challenge!

WLIW-FM’s 2022 fiscal year-end pledge campaign is in full swing, and thanks to our Board of Trustees, every gift we receive now through Thursday, June 30th will be matched up to fifty-thousand dollars. This campaign is essential to meeting our financial needs and being able to serve you, the listeners of Long Island and southern Connecticut.   We take this responsibility seriously and carefully consider the best ways to improve our service to you while remaining within our budget.

I’m proud to say that we have expanded our over-the-air coverage to western Suffolk County and expanded our local programming with your financial help. With all that is going on in our world today, it’s important to have a source of news and information to turn to and to trust.  And with NPR favorites and our own local news productions, WLIW-FM has so much to offer. On top of that, when you want to just wind down and relax, you can listen to music, music, and more music right here on WLIW-FM, 7 days a week!

So please keep listening and donate now by going online at wliwfm.org, or by calling 800-262-0717. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated and can really make a difference!

Nothing says I love my Long Island community more than a gift to WLIW-FM, where we’re striving to bring the best of public media to all of you.

With great thanks,

Diane Masciale

Vice President & General Manager
