Book Discussion – Where the Crawdads Sing (In-Person)

“Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens is the topic of Emma Clark Library’s in-person May Book Discussion. The wildlife scientist Delia Owens has found her voice in Where the Crawdads Sing, a painfully beautiful first novel that is at once a murder mystery, a coming-of-age narrative, and a celebration of nature. Owens surveys the desolate marshlands of the North Carolina coast through the eyes of a child. And in her isolation, that child makes us open our own eyes to the secret wonders–and dangers–of her private world. Copies available at our Circulation Desk. Come pick one up! The discussion will be Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30pm. No need to register. Questions? Email askus@emmaclark.org
