Greater Port Jeff Arts Council proudly presents Pat Wictor & Abbie Gardner – Slide Guitar Legends of Folk in concert in an acoustically magnificent historic church in the heart of Port Jefferson Village. In 2010 Pat Wictor co-founded the folk trio Brother Sun with singer-songwriters Joe Jencks and Greg Greenway. Wictor also has an extensive discography both as a solo artist and as a sideman, playing lap slide guitar and dobro, and incorporates country, gospel and blues into his songwriting, instrumentals, and vocals. Abbie Gardner is a fiery dobro player with an infectious smile. Whether performing solo or with Americana darlings Red Molly, her acclaimed tales of love and loss, both gritty and sweet, are propelled by her impeccable slide guitar chops.
