An icon of the fight for civil rights, Lewis endured repeated imprisonment and physical beatings in his relentless pursuit for justice. And his fearlessness during the violent early years of the civil rights movement cemented his place in history. Tonight, Pulitzer prize winning author and historian Jon Meacham celebrates that fearlessness in a biography “His Truth Is Marching On: John Lewis And The Power Of Hope.
